Harvest Notes from the Hillside
Elena Marchetti · SEP 10, 2026
Walk the rows at dawn in late September and you will understand our harvest in a single breath: cool air, warm earth, and berries that come away from the stem with the gentlest pull.
We pick by hand, parcel by parcel, tasting as we go. Only perfectly ripe clusters reach the sorting table, and only the sorting table decides what becomes Emberfold. Everything else stays on the hill, feeding next year's wine.
